Hen Wallow Falls

Hen Wallow Falls is a beautiful 90 foot cascading waterfall located in the Cosby area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is one of the highest waterfalls on the Cosby side of the Smokies.

The Falls is only two feet wide at the top of the falls but spreads out to 20 feet at its base. The old-growth surrounding forest is filled with chestnuts, beeches, oaks, yellow poplars, ancient hemlocks, and tulip trees. This is a favorite spot of many people to sit, relax, and enjoy a packed lunch or short forest nap.
